Custom scrapers

Not every source is a data API. Sites without an endpoint run on the AI scraper instead: you define the columns, it fills them, and the rows land in the same portal with the same exports as the APIs above. Any public website can be added on request.

What is the Scrapewise web scraping API?

The Scrapewise web scraping API is a REST API with 36 ready endpoints for Amazon, Walmart, Google, YouTube and ChatGPT. You call one with your API key and get clean JSON rows back from that source. There are no monthly plans: you top up a prepaid wallet, and calls start at €0.15 per 1,000.

Your buyers look at Amazon, Walmart, Google, Google Maps, the Play Store, YouTube and, more and more, AI assistants. Each data API here reads one of those sources when you call it and returns clean rows you can filter, schedule and export to Excel. Whichever API you pick, you set it up once, it runs on your schedule, and every run is saved in your Scrapewise account for the table, Excel, your AI assistant or the API.

Every API has its own page with real sample data, the full column list and worked examples of what jobs cost. Prices run from €0.00015 per Amazon call to €0.00375 per Gemini or ChatGPT answer. The full price list, sorted cheapest first, is on the data APIs price page.

Start with the job, not the source. Tracking your Amazon rank is Amazon Search. Checking who took your Buy Box is Amazon Offers. Building a list of dentists in Austin is Google Maps Search. The cards below group each API by source with a one-line note on what it's for.

Who uses these data APIs

  • Amazon and Walmart sellers

Track keyword rank, reprice against other sellers, watch rival stock and find products before you order. Most seller jobs cost a few euros a month or less on the Amazon APIs.

  • App makers and YouTube creators

Check where your app ranks on Google Play, read reviews of your app and your rivals, and research which videos rank for a topic before you film.

  • Local businesses and agencies

Build lead lists from Google Maps, audit business profiles and export reviews for every location you manage.

  • Travel businesses and hosts

Watch fares on your routes, price rooms against nearby hotels and check whether booking sites undercut your direct rate.

How it works

  1. Open an API page

Each page shows real sample rows, every column in plain words, and the cost of typical jobs, so you can judge the data before you sign up.

  2. Set it up once

Sign up and use 5 free requests on your own keywords, ASINs, places or apps. Add a daily, weekly or monthly schedule, and every run is saved with its date for 90 days.

  3. Use it your way

Filter the table and download Excel, pull rows with an API key, or connect your AI assistant and ask: 'what changed since last week?'

Set it up once. The data keeps coming.

Save your search once and it runs by itself. Every run lands in your own Scrapewise database, and you pick how to read it.

  1. Set it up once

Add your ASINs, keywords, places or apps to a scraper in the web app. New accounts get 5 free requests.

  2. Runs on your schedule

Pick daily, weekly on the days you choose, every few days, or the first or last day of the month. Scheduled runs start at night, European time. Need it more often? Start runs from your own code.

  3. Saved in your database

Each run adds dated rows, so this week sits next to last week. Rows are kept for 90 days.

  4. Use it your way

Open the table in the web app and download the latest run as an Excel file. Ask your own AI assistant about it. Or pull the rows into your code with an API key.

Ask your AI assistant about your own data

Connect Claude Desktop or Claude Code with a read-only key. The assistant reads the rows you've already collected, at no extra cost on Scrapewise. With a full-access key it can start a run for you too.

  • Which of my ASINs lost the Buy Box this week?
  • Which competitor cut prices the most since Monday?
  • Show the keywords where I dropped out of the top 10.

Why sellers pick these data APIs

  • A price you can check before you start

Each API has one price per call, in euros. Multiply it by your calls and you have your monthly cost.

  • Every row is checked and dated

Every row on every API carries sw status, sw source url and sw fetched at. So rows from Amazon, Walmart and Google Shopping can be checked and dated the same way.

  • Live data on every call

Each call reads the source at the moment you run it. Start it every hour from your own code and you see price and rank changes within the hour.
